Tour Itinerary: 2 Days Tour Errachidia To Merzouga
Day 1: Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Camel trek and at a Luxury Camp
Today, your driver/guide will pick you up at 09:00 am from your hotel in Errachidia to start your 2 Days Tour Errachidia To Merzouga, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz Valley ( the second longest and one of the most beautiful valleys in Morocco.
You will continue driving to Erg Chebbi dunes, passing by Aoufous and Erfoud that is famous for fossils, and date yearly international festival if you would like to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that, you will continue to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, these captivating dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes.
Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for an hour to enjoy the sunset, try sandboarding if that’s an activity you are interested in, take pictures, and enjoy the views… after the sun goes down your camel ride continues to your camp where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea, delicious dinner, listen to the local Berber drumming music, watch a starry sky and spend the night at your Berber camp.
Day 2: Erg Chebbi Dunes - Back to Errachidia
On the second day of our tour, we recommend you wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara close to the Camp, then have your breakfast and take a shower at the camp. After that, you will ride your camel back to the original location or transfer back by a car 4×4 if you prefer to use it.
