Tour Itinerary: 3 Days Tour Errachidia To Fes
Day 1: Errachidia Airport- Merzouga Desert
The driver/guide will pick you up from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport to start your 3 days tour Errachidia to Fes, you will drive directly to Merzouga because most of the flights that land at the airport arrive at night. Overnight at a hotel in Merzouga.
Day 2: Merzouga 4x4 excursion - Erg Chebbi - Camel Trek and night at Desert Camp
After a local breakfast at your hotel, you will start your Merzouga 4×4 excursion to explore the most interesting sites around Erg Chebbi dunes, you will start by Hassi Labied oasis to see its irrigation canal and land agriculture after you will head south to the seasonal Sriji lake (if there is a water in it).
We will continue to Khamlia village to have a chance to listen to the Gnawa music of the skinned people who were brought as immigrants to Morocco over a hundred years ago and were working as slaves… afterward, you will continue to M’ifis mines Besides, the tourism Merzouga desert it’s also famous of minerals and fossils.
During your Merzouga 4×4 desert tour, you will visit a nomad Berber family, who is still living in their tent in the middle of the Sahara, you will have the opportunity to discover their lifestyle and enjoy a glass of mint tea with them.
Later on, you will have more time to make stops at different panoramic views to enjoy the scenery and take many pictures of the sights… the lunch will be in a local restaurant to enjoy the Berber pizza, after you will come back to the village, and you will be ready to do the Camel Trekking, you will ride camels around 1h30 min to reach our Berber Camp in Merzouga with a break on top of the dunes to enjoy the magical sunset, in addition, you will try the sandboarding if that’s an activity you are interested in, take many photos, enjoy the views…
You will continue to your Camp, where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and relax until dinner time, after, there will be some traditional Berber music under a starry sky, and spend your night in a Luxury Berber Camp.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Cedar forest - Ifrane - Fes
On the last day after watching the sunrise over the dune near the camp, you will have a delicious breakfast and take a shower at the camp then you will ride the camels again back to the original start location or we can transfer you in 4×4 as you wish.
We will continue direction to Fes via Ziz Valley the second-longest river in Morocco, and cross the middle Atlas Mountains where you will enjoy several wonderful views, then free time to have lunch at a local restaurant then in the afternoon we head towards Fes. In Azrou we will have a short walk through the Cedar forest where we will see the wild monkeys and take many pictures there.
Before arrive Fes, we will stop at Ifrane, where you will have the opportunity to discover this Little Switzerland, finally, we’ll reach Fes in the late afternoon, drop you off at your accommodation, and end our 3 days tour Errachidia to Fes.
