Tour Itinerary: 4 Days Tour Errachidia To Marrakech
Day 1: Arrival To Errachidia - Merzouga Desert
On the first day of your 4 days Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga, your driver will pick you up from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport, then drive south to Merzouga Sahara desert. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Merzouga.
Day 1: Arrival To Errachidia - Merzouga Desert
After a traditional breakfast at your hotel, you will start your excursion to explore the most interesting sites around Erg Chebbi dunes, firstly by Hassi Labied oasis to see its irrigation canal and land agriculture after you will head south to the seasonal Sriji lake (if there is a water in it).
You will continue to Khamlia village to have a chance to listen to the Gnawa music of the skinned people who were brought as immigrants to Morocco over a hundred years ago and were working as slaves… afterward, you will continue to M’ifis mines Besides, the tourism Merzouga desert it’s also famous of minerals and fossils.
During your Merzouga 4×4 desert tour, you will visit a Local nomad family, who is still living in their tent in the middle of the Sahara, you will have the opportunity to discover their lifestyle and enjoy a glass of mint tea with them.
Later on, you will have more time to make stops at different panoramic views to enjoy the scenery and take many pictures of the sights… the lunch will be in a traditional restaurant to enjoy the Berber pizza, after you come back to the village to be ready to do the Camel Trekking.
You will ride camels around 1h30 min to reach a Berber Camp in Merzouga with a break on top of the dunes to enjoy the magical sunset, in addition, you will try the sandboarding if that’s an activity you are interested in, take many photos, enjoy the views…
You will continue to your Camp, where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and relax until dinner time, there will be some traditional Berber music under a starry sky, and spend your night in a Luxury Berber Camp.
Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
As you are already in the desert it is worth getting up in the early morning to watch the sunrise near your camp, after, you will have breakfast and take a shower at the camp, and then you can ride the camels or transfer by 4WD back to the original started location where you will meet the driver.
Your 4 Days Tour Errachidia To Marrakech will continue towards Rissani, you will visit the weekly market if it’s one of the market days (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) we will pass through small Berber villages such as Mellab, Tinejdad, and Tinghir where we will stop to admire its beautiful Todra Valley full of palm trees and vegetation.
We continue to Todra Gorge located at the feet of the High Atlas Mountains, it’s a famous place for rock climbers, the you will have free time to walk through its high canyons…
we will have a break for lunch in a local restaurant then in the afternoon we will drive to Boumalne Dades to visit Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Riad.
Day 3: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas - Marrakech
On the last day of our 4 Days tour Errachidia To Marrakech, you will continue your direction to Marrakech via Kalaat M’gouna, Rose Valley, and Skoura Palm Grove. You will make a visit to Kasbah Tourirte and film studios in Ouarzazate.
Then you will drive to Ait Benhaddou where you can visit its oldest and most famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular place including Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy, Obelix, the Jewel of the Nile,… free time for lunch.
After, continue your day crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco called Tizi N’tichka at 2260 meters above sea level it offers impressive views of valleys, mountains, and some Berber villages nearby. Arrive in the afternoon in Marrakech, then transfer to your hotel, and the 4 days tour from Errachidia to Marrakech ends.
